Brandy's Story
I will be 28 years old this month and
I have known that I was conceived with the help of a
sperm donor since I was 10 years old. It may have been
years ago now, but I will never forget my reaction-
complete shock. It was like an out of body experience,
I sat beside myself. It brought on sudden explosive
feelings of anger. Was this for real?
| My parents had been married for years. My
father was unable to have kids when he met my
mom, and she knew that. She says the only thing
she ever wanted was a child. One day, after many
years of waiting for a child, the dream became
a reality through the help of a sperm donor. I
have a brother and twin sisters, and we were all
conceived this way.
I feel the same emotions as everyone
else in my situation. Of course there is curiosity
and it will never go away. I am just happy to
be alive and I love my DAD more than anything
in the world! I don't need the answers, I LOVE
being different and mysterious.
